Ranked number 10 on the list is The Blue Shield of CA Group. It was the year 1939 when this insurance company was founded by the California Medical Association in San Francisco, California. Blue Shield offer health plans that suits your employees’ needs. They have insurance for small groups, consists of 2-50 employees; for midsize groups, 51-299 employees; and large or national groups, 300 or more employees. They also provide dental, vision, and life insurance.
Ranked number 9 is the Independence Blue Cross Group. The first plan this company has started is for the teachers, giving them 21 days of hospital care for $6 a year and then later extended to other employee groups until it became national.
